Included in the stuff we got for homebrewing were 3 plastic carboys. They are not see thrust plastic but white and are laboratory grade Nalgene. Previous owner worked at lab. They are LDLP and that is food safe. Two 5 gal and one 6.5. One has a bottom drain plug.

Not sure what the "LP" stands for but if you know they are food safe and you give them a good bleach bath before use then sure!

Nalgene carboys are great for fermenters. Normally they're very expensive.

By the way, you can use anything as a fermenter, as long as it's food grade. The yeast don't care.

That's great. They appear to have never been used. Got a lot of other Nalgen jugs and stuff. Some lab stuff for yeast he never used too.

WOW, Found the 25 l carboys with handles I have on Amazon and couple lab supplies, $361 for four! Sure got a good deal!
