In a thread started by ctfeet in the beginers forum entitled 'Flat Beer' we discussed possible issues causing his carbonation to be less than optimal.(https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/flat-beer-424591/#post5639033) I have had this problem also with my latest beer, and the common denominator is we both used Brewers Best Conditioning Tablets to carbonate our batches.
This is the first time I have used them, and coincidentally, the first time my brew has failed to carbonate within three to four weeks.
Does anyone else have any experience using these? How many tablets do you put in your bottles?
