Hey guys,
I am on my second batch and decided to go with the brewers best German Oktoberfest kit. I followed the directions to a t and my temps/sanitization were dead on. It's been five days and I don't see any signs of fermentation. I don't have the yeast packet to check the expiration date. I started at 53 degrees in a mini fridge and after day four I pulled it and it has almost been 12 hours at 68 degrees. Still no signs of fermentation and sg is the same as the og. Do I have bad yeast and should I wait another day before pitching more?
