I have made peach melomel ,caramel apple mead ,apple wine and a few batches of skeeter pee now i want to try a braggot.I am mostly interested in wine and mead making but notice all the braggot recipes call for priming sugar and thus carbonation. Can i use champagne bottles instead of beer bottles for the carbonated braggot? I dont really want to buy the bottles and capper etc if i can get or procure enough champagne bottles for 5 gallons of braggot.

You can use what you like/have.

there's nothing set.

Braggot recipes here, are unsurprisingly, biased toward beer style. Other places they produce a more wine-like result.........

hell even a kegging set up will do, then just put the chilled carbonated brew into appropriate bottles - that way you can do sweet much more easily.......
