I brewed a bourbon stout came out to about 15% after fermentation and a healthy amount of bourbon
It was fermented with safale us 05 which dies at around 11%
I added 2 ozs if priming sugar for my 2.5 gallons of beer. I fear the yeast has died and it will not carbonate in the bottle.
I rehydrate 1/10 a pack lallemand CBC-1 finishing yeast and gently stirred it into my bottling bucket
Will this be enough to carb the bottles? Now I'm wondering if I should used the whole packet of yeast or so but it was only a 2.5 gallon batch
Did I do this wrong I don't need a ton of carbonation for a bourbon stout but still need some
