Bottling bucket

Did a batch of root beer in my bottling bucket. Still has a slight smell of root beer. Will this transfer to my beer?

Maybe.
Fill the bucket with water and baking soda, let it sit for a day or so, then rinse.

I always soak my fermentation bucket in hot water and Oxyclean Free for about 24hrs.

I did a bleach solution for a day and it took the smell down but not completely away
