SO I have done some digging around over the past week and I am not finding a whole lot of information on this. I am using polyclar for the first time to try and clear a beer. I have read a lot about filtering it before kegging and force carbing. There have only been very few things I have found about bottling. My question is this, when bottling after clearing with polyclar are people re-pitching yeast or is the polyclar still leaving enough yeast in suspension to be able to carbonate without repitching?

Question number two is, I harvested my yeast cake from this batch (yeast from primary, beer is in secondary). Could I repitch that slurry or would I need to use a dry yeast like nottingham or a fresh starter?

Ive used polyclar many times. Beer will carb just fine without adding fresh yeast. I also reuse cakes from beers with poly. No probs there either. Its tasteless and once it settles it should be inert.
