I have noticed that larger bottles taste better. The flavors are more distinct yet smoother. It does not matter if I bulk age for a month or more- style does not seem to matter either. Bombers taste better than 12 oz. and qt. bottles taste better than bombers. Less work cleaning and filling too.
Is this because the beers really begin to age once carbonation has taken place and it is a small scale version of bulk aging? If this is true then cornys are even better? I just bought two- might prime a batch and let it sit until I figure out my CO2 situation.
