Boil Circulation - Position of Elements

Any thoughts on the best positions for two electric heating elements in the attached HLT?

The diameter is 770mm and I'm planning on fitting 1 x 406mm length (16") and 1 x 356mm length (14").

It's the sloping base that has got me thinking.

My plan for the tank is the HLT.

I know it's ideal to have elements to one side to create convective flow during heating, but with the sloped base this would leave a huge cold spot underneath.

Any experience or ideas please???

As close to the bottom as possible. I would probably install them facing each other, i.e., 180 degrees apart.
