What happened to the old "no human pathogen can survive in beer and that's one of the reasons why it was so important in past civilizations" adage that get's thrown around?

So, whatever pathogens you were carrying around in your blood, after they dispersed in the beer, they must have been rendered inert, yes?

Can people carry lacto or brett in their blood? Hmmm....

The T-virus has been proven to thrive in beer.
 
If two boxers can beat the hell out of each other and run minimal risk of infections even when bleeding, a couple drops of blood are nothing to get your panties in a bunch over...
