Below I have what I think is a good recipe for a good base Blonde Ale. Let me know what your thoughts are and what you would change if anything! I am thinking about brewing this in a few days.

OG 1.062
IBU 19
SRM 6
ABV 6%
Efficiency 70%
Batch Size 5 gallons
All Grain
90 minute boil
154*F mash temp for 70 min with 170*F sparge temp over 10-15 min

7.5# Pilsner malt
3.3# British 2-Row
0.4# Amber/Dark Candi Sugar
0.4# Clear/Blonde Candi Sugar
0.5oz Challenger Hop @ 90 min
0.4oz Challenger Hop @ 15 min
1 tsp Irish Moss @ 10 min
1 pkg Belgian Golden Ale Yeast

Ferment @ 68 for 10 days

I may add some orange and/or lemon peel and maybe some other spices.

I like my blondes more dry so that mash temp is a little high. ABV kinda high too for a Blonde, I think.

Why the dark sugar? The Belgian pale ale malt (like Dingemans) is very good, usually a tad darker than MO.

That would be my only change, making the dark sugar more of the light variety. Other than that it looks really good.
