I have a 7 gl blichmann fermentor that is a few years old. Someone put my pipes and fittings inside for storage and upon carrying this fermentor around the inside got scratched.
The scratches are not very deep but I can feel them with my finger. Is there a DIY procedure for smoothing these out?
I am brewing today if I clean this with boiling water will it still be OK to use?
Thank you for your help

You don't have much to worry about. Sanitize with StarSan over boiling water.

A Scotch Brite pad would be a good starting point to knock down the scratches. If that is not enough try a 600-800 grit sandpaper sanding with the grain. Should do ya good.
