Hello,

I was wondering if it is okay to add 1 TBSP of bleach per gallon of water used in a waterbath/swamp cooler setup I use for my fermenter. I use better bottles. Thanks.

should be fine, even though that's way more bleach than you need to keep the swamp from getting swampy.

I live in AZ and the house is around 80... I don't need to add bleach for even 3-4 week primaries to avoid nasty things growing. Maybe there is enough chlorine in my water as is. I did add bleach once and probably too much and didn't have any issues so I don't think your plan will hurt anything.

I'm about to do something similar and I am planning to use a Starsan solution. Don't know if that's right, but that is what I am planning.
