Hey all!
I brewed 5 gallons of my local home-brew store's 1st place winning milk stout yesterday, and the plan is to make a black n tan party with my 2 soda kegs soon. I was wondering what type of pale ale would be a good combo with a milk stout? Or would that just be weird? Any recipes and ideas are greatly appreciated! I was thinking of making an orange-y one so it would be like a creamsicle? I could see how that would be gross though. HELP!

I personally wouldn't do a milk stout, but that's just me.

Any pale ale will do though. If you have a favorite, use that one. I'm partial to American hops, so I'd do something like SNPA.

For an orange color, I think some crystal malt is key? I made an IPA once that was pretty orangish, but I don't recall exactly which malt caused this.
