Hello, I brew 5 gal batches using BIAB, because in my apartment there's no space for an all grain HLT/MLT/BK system.
To keep the temperature constant througth the mashing process, I use a RIMS-tube with a March Pump 815 to recirculate the wort.
My problem is that the bag gets sucked by the pump and sometimes no wort recirculates and I have to stop the pump to avoid running it at zero flow.
I think the problem is that I don't use a "manifold" device to collect the wort under the false bottom and therefore all the flow goes to one point (back of the ball valve/Spigot of the kettle).
Does anyone know how to solve this? Has anyone experienced something like this?
