yrs ago I worked as a food service equipment tech.
this was in the back of the warehouse and was going to get tossed.
So I grabbed it.
It's supposedly came off a sausage stuffing machine.
Never saw the machine myself as it was before my time.
It's been in my basement for about 17 yrs and probably 5 yrs in my parents pole barn before that. So it needs a trip to the power-wash before I use it.
It's heavy. probably 65-70 qts since my 60 qt pot fits just inside of it and is about 5 inches shorter.
looks to be thick aluminum for the sides and stainless for the bottom?
figure i'll put a ball valve on one of the threaded pipes on the bottom and maybe just cap the other one and use it for mounting a ground wire.
It will still be a few months before i get everything set up in the basement.
need to get a table,vent fan, sink, get water to it, and electric of course.
also clean the basement, scrub and paint the stone wall i'm putting it on, ect.
Already picked up an inkbird temp controller and some 40 amp SSR's.
Will update as I make progress.
