I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of "Well, actually..."s and flames but,

As someone who was born in, and spent the first 10 years of their life in Belgium, it's really annoying when people say/type "Belgium ale."

I wouldn't tell someone "I'm Belgium." Just as Americans wouldn't say "I'm America! Try this great Germany beer!"

That is all.
 
This is funny. There have been a few threads on this lately. It completely confounds me why so many people on here will use Belgium, but still say German, English, American, etc.
 
Seems to be a lot of sandy vaginas here.

I enjoy a good Germany Kolsch. Maybe we should start calling IPA's an Indian Pale ale. Or Czech pilsner Czechs pilsners.
