So, I'm getting married in June, outside...in Nebraska. I will be brewing my own beer as the beer provided is going to consist of good ole macros.... I have built a few recipes but outside of 1 or 2 of them I'm not sure which to choose. I only want to make 4 or 5 5 gallon batches.

I'm pretty set on Black Sand as it's one of my personal favorites that I have made, the others are up in the air.

Depends on your guests. How many of them would drink an IPA?

I'd crank down the ABV on whichever ones you're serving, unless you're looking forward to a mass of drunk people on your wedding night.

I'm no sure if it's just me but 2lb of 60L seems like it'd be to cloyingly sweet.

Edit: I'm referencing the ipa and pale ales.

I forgot to mention, I would guess that at least half our 200+ guests are Busch Light type drinkers, and at least 65% of them wouldn't venture out of that realm, even if I made a cream ale.

The other half is split probably 70/30 of craft beer drinkers and either non-drinkers or wine people.

I could certainly crank down the ABV on all but two of them, as they are proven recipes to me, and don't taste the same if scaled down(Black Sand and Siddhartha).

I'd actually probably tend to agree with the IPA and Pale ale. Never actually thought of that.

And just for yuks, search around for another thread giving all sorts of suggestions for funny wedding beer names - things like Hoppily Ever After, For Richer or for Porter, etc.

I have already been doing that, just havent made any final decisions. :tank:
