I saw that midwest sells a beer of the month I think it is $23.00 + shipping and they send you a extract kit every month . has anyone done this? were they pretty happy with the process and the kits that were sent?

Yep.

Not a bad deal, they allow a few substitutions every month as well.

I buy my stuff a few batches at a time and save more. Their shipping is pretty expensive and buying one batch at a time is crazy.

I live in Iowa and the shipping is still $10+ for a single recipe.

the problem I have is I will go to my local shop buy two kits, brew it and I never get a chance for a couple months to get back down and run out of beer. If I had a kit every month sent to my house it would make me brew more. did you subscribe to this service.
