First and foremost, some people from the brew club, me included, are looking at starting a barrel aging project. First choice is the barrel. We have a line on a Woodford Reserve or we can choose a nice Jack Daniels bourbon barrel. Which will have the best flavor for the price?

Both will be a 53 gallon full size barrel.

Also our thought is Barleywine, Russian Imperial Stout, Strong Scotch, Sour Flanders last for the fill points.

Thoughts?

No thoughts on the barrel aging, but the Kentuckian in me can't let this go. :off:
