Hi all-

I started homebrewing in 1990, but haven't brewed since August of '99 when I brewed my 52nd batch of beer. I gave most of my things away, but still have my notebook, some corny kegs, and 2 carboys. I'm excited to reenter the world of homebrew. Having perused the forum for a couple of weeks, it seems there are some interesting new developments in homebrewing over the last 20 years. My final setup was a 3V system using a 10 gal cooler for my MLT. This time, I'm going to keep it simple and try the BIAB technique. It will likely be spring before I brew, but first batch up will be what I called Hewitt House Ale, which was just simple amber ale. I often used homegrown Cascade hops, but those vines are long gone!
