Hi guys my carbonated cider is nearly ready this week. I cracked a bottle and is meant to be strawberry cider but is very dry. I got strawberry extract drops to hand would this help at all or leave me with undrinkable cider??

I backsweetent in a keg but with a bottled cider you may be left with doing in the glass. Maybe buy a jug to mix with your stuff at the time of consumption.

Thanks would this extract actually sweeten it then or would I need Splenda also? And I've read that the taste gets better with time left as its only been 2 weeks since I started

Pour a glass and then add in a few ounces of fresh cider to the glass. Taste it and add more if you need to. In the keg, I'll add about a 1/2 gallon to a very dry batch and I think it ends up perfect.
