I am in the process of cutting the top off of my 15 gallon LME barrel that I got from the local LHBS, I planned on somehow installing one of those screw top lids, but there will be a gap between the container and lid base, the question is..
Can I use aquarium sealant from home depot to seal this, it says food safe, and I dont think beer will actually ever come in contact with it?
what have you used for this type of project?
