Apfelwein yeast question

Hey guys this is my first time creating a thread on here!!! Anyway, i was looking to make some of Ed's Apfelwein and i was wondering if there is any reason why i should not make it with Lalvin EC-1118. I have a packet laying around at home. This is really my first time making a wine so any help is welcome. Thanks guys
