Anyone used this HLT - mash product?

I checked out one those at the LBS, and it is entirely way too expensive for what it is.

1/2 hour at the local hardware store and another 1/2 hour assembly testing will get you the same for around $80, and that's paying full price for the cooler.

Make sure you browse through the entire thread. There are different ways to assemble the same thing with different parts, some more available than others. For example you can use a plastic valve that usually goes on a fermenter/bottling bucket that you may already have around and it is a lot cheaper than a lot of the stainless steel parts mentioned in the earlier posts in the thread.
