I'm doing a 3-gallon, partial mash recipe using brewtarget 1.2.4.
I noticed that the calculated batch and boil size is coming out to be 2.447 gallons.
I'm worried that because brewtarget is using those numbers, that my final result is going to be pretty far off from what I'm hoping to get based on what the program says I should get.
I'm going to be mashing just over 4 # of grain in about a gallon and a half of water, and then "sparge" with about 2.25 gallons.
Should I be doing anything with the mash editor to get the calculated batch/boil size to 3 to see what the numbers turn out to be, or should I not worry?
