I'm looking to clone this, or at least come up with something similar. I had this last week and it was fantastic. It's a "Honey vanilla cream oat wine ale" aged for a year in whiskey barrels. I've been meaning to pickup a small whiskey barrel anyway. Now I really have a reason to!

I have no idea what the grain bill would be for something like this, or hops used. I guess it's a barleywine with oats. I suppose I can try a barleywine recipe, but when do you think the honey / vanilla come into play?
