I'm looking at getting a larger bag for the weekend's brew. I know I can order a larger custom one. I probably will at some point. But for the immediate use, has anyone had any experience with this bag? I can get one locally for a little bit cheaper.

The description mentions using for brew in a bag. The bag tapers slightly towards the bottom, and has a finer mesh on the sides than the bottom, so it drains more from the bottom of the bag. Anybody have any experience with these?

I used one today. I recently sold my brew rig and was itching to brew.

I busted out the old turkey fryer burner and gave BIAB a try.

My grain bill was 17 lbs and I ended up splitting it between two bags.

It worked great and I hit all my numbers. I wonder how the different mesh on the bottom affected things.

Over all it worked great for me and I would use it again.

I'm interested to hear how it works out. Does it let through more sediment? Does it drain well?

I picked it up, I will post about it when I brew with it. Which will probably be in a couple weeks.
