I bought a 5000 BTU Haier AC unit off craigslist for $30.
Disappointed to find the copper condenser lines are attached at the side of the condenser on the bottom making it impossible to fit into a notched cooler.
Fortunately I'm out only 30 bucks, but need advice on a cheap AC unit with the lines on the top so it fits in the cooler.
Those that have done this project, what specific AC do you recommend?

I am also using a Haier A/C with the tubing connections at the bottom. I was able to rotate the condenser 90 degrees so they are now at the top.

The problem then became finding a cooler deep enough to fit the condenser on end. Needs about 16".

I bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002VQ9PU2/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

Didn't need the wheels and handle, but it has the depth I need.
