I'm already a fan of Alesmith's "Evil Dead Red" and, using Jamil's "Evil Twin" recipe, I've been able to come pretty close to it at home. This past weekend, I had a chance to try a cask aged version of Alesmith's "My Bloody Valentine." I expected it to be pretty much the same thing, but it had a much richer, maltier taste. What do you guys think? Is this pretty much the same beer and the changes in flavor are due to the cask? Is the recipe itself different? I'd appreciate any ideas about cracking the code on this one.

would you mind posting your recipe for the regular version...? This beer is my personal fav.... :ban:
