I'm new to brewing and have a question. My first batch was an Irish Red Ale. After 24 huours, it was bubbling vigorously. The batch I'm working on now is a European Bock. After 24 hours it was barely bubbling. It has picked up some now at 48 hours, but still not very vigorous. Is it normal for a lager to ferment less vigorously than an ale?
