Significant other decided that the commercial hard seltzers were a good thing. So I decided I needed to make it at home.
Thus far good results with a 1/2 Corney keg trial.
750ml Vodka
10 lbs Ice
top up to 10L water in keg, (1/2 full).
Apply 30 psi and shake 2-3 times over 5-10 minutes.
Reduce to 12 psi for dispense pressure and put into keezer.
As is 6-7% ABV easy drinking clear sparkling seltzer. Alco-Seltzer is born!
Now onto the fruit fusions to add over ice with the Alco-Seltzer. Thus far I have made a grapefruit honey concentrate by juicing 1 whole ruby red with the zest of another mixed with a cup of honey and a pinch of salt. Very good!
