I ran across a free ceramic air stone. It is identical to the one pictured here

http://www.theaquariumwiki.com/Airstone

Do you think I can use this on an oxygen tank instead of a SS stone? I'm planning on getting a SS stone but I won't have it by brew day.

Can I sanitize it with starsan or should I put it in a pressure cooker?

Thanks

Disclaimer: I am just speculating and have no real idea.

That being said... logically, I would think if it suffers no ill effects from a 10-20 minute star san soak, you should be fine using it for 60-90 seconds to oxygenate your wort.
