Its driving distance for me this year, but with the registration fee, hotel, parking, food, its likely going to be at least $1000 or more if I stay for 2 nights. I've never been and I'll probably never go, the cost/benefit just doesn't add up for me. I suppose if there was an active local homebrew club, I'd have a different perspective. For $1000, I could do a lot of upgrades to my homebrew gear, get a new kayak, go on a lengthy camping trip or visit relatives that live far away. I know some people spend way more than that to attend that have to fly in. So if you've gone, is it worth it and why?
