I'm a relative newbie to full mash brewing and have been bottling my beer so far. I have been gifted a 20ltr heineken keg that I'm keen to use for some of my next brew. I've worked out that it has an 's' type connector and have been able to remove the internal spike for cleaning. My question is simply that if I buy a 's' type keg connector can I connect a 16g co2 charger directly to it and will this be sufficient to discharge a keg of beer.
