Well, I hope someone answers because I would like to know as well. I'm looking at getting either one of these or a keg dry hop filter.

I have one and don't use it anymore. I didn't see a big bump in flavor/aroma and a whirlpoo/hopstandl is easier and more effective for me.

This is a great question! I've never used a hopback - seems like a cool idea but after doing a few hop stands, I wonder if it just ads another piece of equipment to be purchased and cleaned.

After brewing for a few years, I'm pretty happy with what I brew and how it turns out - the one thing I'm always thinking about is how much time some new thing will add to my already longish brew day.

My blushing bride bought a Hop-Rocket for me, not realizing it was for whole hops. I use pellets. Put a hop-sock on the internal filter and use pellets anyway. Works great for a fast dry-hop. Just send from one out post to the other through the hop jack and back. Voila!! Don't know if I would buy one on my own or not. Being lazy, I use it. Never any grassy overtones.
