A newbie from Southern Oregon

Hi everyone I decided to take up a new hobby this winter. Normally I'd be out on the river rowing the drift boat this time of year, but I had to have an extensive shoulder surgery recently so I decided to take up beer brewing. I've done some fruit fermentations in the past few years pear cider, apple cider, and such. I just don't like drinking cider that much so I figured I'd do something I'd get more use out of.
