Greetings all! I was sipping my morning coffee while driving into to work. As I was enjoying this incredible Ethiopian from Starbucks, my mind began to wonder to brewing beer. I was thinking about the fruity notes that filled my mouth from this wonderful cup of coffee and instantly thought of citra hops. The citrus notes of the coffee would marry so well with the citrus notes of citra hops. I was thinking later that a black IPA could be the beer that I would introduce with this coffee. Any thoughts on this idea? Has anyone tried something like this? Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
