I purchased this burner from my local Agri-supply an modified it to fit my setup.

I started out by removing one leg completely with the grinder an cutting the welds on the other 3 legs.

Got the three legs loose. re-welded them to get a 2" burner height. Also added some pot holders and a coat of paint.

Brewed a batch yesterday and had no problems with bringing strike water up to temp and bringing 7 gallons to a boil. Only ran the burner at about 10% to maintain a rolling boil. Any more than 25% and it became inefficient. Flame would start to come up around the pot. A 10 PSI regulator is more than enough to run this burner for brewing. You would need about a 3' wide pot to run this at 100% with the 30 PSI regulator.
