55 gal barrel

So there is a farm near me that is selling 55 gal food grade barrels. Is there any reason why I could not use them for electric brewing? See pictures.

Doesn't look stainless to me. What makes them food grade?

They were shipped with apple juice in them. Not sure if they are stainless. The inside is white so I was worried it would leech during the boil.

I wouldn't use it for a boil...but HLT or MT maybe. Of course I'd see what exactly they were made out of and coated with first.

I wouldn't put liquid in them let alone heat it. The coating or paint on the steel would never hold up. They would be good for grain storage.
