So I just got a 5 gallon bucket of hops from a friend (picked today) who knows nothing about them. They are a bit brown and oxidized so I don't really want to put them in anything directly, but they smell great. Any thoughts on what to do?
I'm thinking to perhaps do an extract with everclear and use as a secondary addition. This is a very nice smelling wild hop and would complement any English ale very well. Wild IPA anyone?
