I have been really busy and haven't been able to rack to my secondary. Beer has been in the primary for about 3 weeks. Do you think that yeast can still be salvaged and washed or should i just not reuse it. I heard if you leave it in the primary too long it just gets stressed and its not good to wash. What do you guys think? I would really like to be able to still use it.

there are plenty of people on here that regularly wash at 1 month without problems. If your sanitation and initial yeast health was good, and fermentation temperatures kept under control you should be fine

I'd be concerned about 3 months, but 3 weeks should be no problem. The yeast will still be very much alive at that point.
