220 Plug - Panel Mount vs Cord Mount

Looking through this forum and almost all home-grown and commercially available use a plug style outlet below. I have a small enclosure and was entertaining doing hanging plug for 2 reasons like the car charger shown below. Would there be any issues using a cord plug attachable female plug like in the pics below?

It would save some room in the box and would dramatically reduce the number of cuts I need in the box.

No issue at all. I went one step further using only one plug at the element but your approach would work.

Like BeardedBrews said, it’s not a problem. Just a matter of personal preference and what works in your setup.

Exactly, I ended up buying this cord:

And used it with an element like this:
