I have a bunch of friends who are doing the Herbalife diet and the 21 day shake challenge. When I needed to loose weight I purposely made sure I did it without the use of any of those products. So to poke a little fun at them I am starting the #21daybeerchallenge. The rules are simple
1. Drink a beer you have never had
2. Post about it with tasting notes
3. Learn about and try different beers
4. Have fun

Smells of faint peach. Upfront Belgium funk with a pronounced oak finish. Extremely smooth for 10% #21daybeerchallenge

Day 2
A little beer to build by. Smells is coffee and chocolate with a hint of bourbon. Taste upfront is dark chocolate with a smooth bourbon/coffee finish. #21daybeerchallenge

Day 3: first hoppy beer of the challenge. I vaguely remember having this 10+ years ago but wasn't sure. Extremely hoppy nose but pleasantly bitter. Reminds me of a cognac or brandy. I would love to see this aged in oak. #21daybeerchallenge

Day 5: nugget nectar. Pine and citrus on the nose, tastes of pine and then finishes with a caramel sweetness. #21daybeerchallenge

Day 6: thin persistent caramel colored head. Smells of coffee and vanilla. Boozy heat leads into strong sweetened coffee notes. #21daybeerchallenge
