Last year I bought 3 Willamette and 2 Nugget hop rhizomes. One of the Willamette and both Nugget rhizomes never grew. The 2 Willamette that grew (Willamette 2yr I) got about 3 feet and the other Willamette grew to about 4 feet. This year those two came back to life on April 1st and it that just happened to be the day I ordered my 3 Magnum rhizomes. I planted the Magnums last Friday the 15th, and they took no time to sprout! The first one was Monday and then Tuesday the next and Wed for the last. I got these from http://www.freshops.com/. These rhizomes were HUGE compared to last years, from a web site I won't mention since I bought late in the planting season and they looked pretty sad.
