Hi,
I have a homemade temperature controlled fermentation chamber, which holds up to 4 fermentation buckets or carboys. It comes with the pictured Better Bottle carboy and airlock, $20 takes everything. Local pickup only in Baltimore city, near Patterson Park.
It has a Mypin TA4 temperature controller, thermocouple, ceramic heater element, and fan to circulate air.
For winter months, or for farmhouse beers, just flip the heater switch up and put the controller in Heat mode.
For summer months, freeze water in gallon jugs and put them in the right sub-chamber, then flip the heater switch DOWN and set the controller to Cool mode. It will then cycle the fan to circulate cold air over the carboys as needed. The insulated wall between the chambers ensures that cold air stays on its side when the fan is off.
