So what should I brew for my next beer.

I have done a Pliny Clone (hit 52% BH efficiency :( )

I did a SMaSH - Marris Otter + a dump trucks worth of Cascade hops

Now I am looking what to do next. I want to branch out from US-05/WLP001 yeast.

I do not like stouts or beers with coffee-esque flavors, and no wheat beers.

So what should I do?

Do about 90% Maris Otter, 5% a medium-dark UK Crystal malt (i'm partial to the Crisp 45L and 77L crystal malts), and 5% Biscuit malt, mashed at 152-154, and up to about 1.045, about 35 IBUs, most of that w/ Challenger or Target at 60 mins, and then a little between Challenger and East Kent Goldings at 15 or 20 minutes, and a small flameout addition. Use Wyeast 1469 West Yorkshire, and ferment around 60.

And there you go. A tasty Best Bitter I'd be proud to drink.
