Planted 5 cascades in mid May, (North Germany, 53.2525° N, 10.4144° E).
Realise noble hops would have been more logical, but don't really brew any pilsners or real ales, so wanted American hops.
They shot up really quickly and now the cones are coming, but we had a very bad August (cool, cloudy), so I'm a bit afraid they won't develop fully for harvesting.
Looks like we have some warmer, sunny weather this week, but will it be enough to develop the cones?
