I did my first AG BAIB this weekend. Most of my previous batches were extract or partial mash. This is the second brew I have done where I forgot to add whirl flock to the boil. Is it normal for all grain wort to be clouded than extract? Fyi...my sg was 1.042, my og was 1.070.

I did a smash with 7# Maris Otter (2.75 post boil gallons) and Columbus hops. Pitched SA05 rehydrate but no starter.

It is very normal for all grain to be more cloudy than extract. Most of the material that makes your all grain wort cloudy has been left behind in the process of making extract.
