Is it normal for an ipa this young and right off a dry hop to b kinda hot in the alcohol. It has no off flavors but is hot in alcohol ferment temps were at 65 the whole time so shldnt be fusels is this just another case of young brew?

Yea kinda impatient lol it is in the keg under the set and forget at 10 psi for 7-10 days. Its an extremely bitter beer as well used 3oz on dry hop 2oz cascade 1oz simcoe. I hope it mellows

Well there's your problem. I would suggest leaving it on the yeast to mellow and clean up for at least 2 weeks. I do at least 3. Even for an IPA.

I wouldn't say it's "normal". I just tried my 8% gravity reading at 3 days in and it's not all all hot. In fact, I could drink it right now!

Check out your original thread. They tend to be answered first, just a thought also. Were a great crowd here and ive learned TONS of information on this site. Your question will be answered just give it time!

Good luck with the IPA and enjoy the dry-hop

I'd give it a few more minutes. Not much though, I like my IPA's fresh!
